BALTIMORE, MD (January 30, 2004) - Alexander
& Tom, Inc. (www.alextom.com) an interactive
marketing agency, announced today they have been
awarded a U.S. Government Services Administration
(GSA) Contract for marketing and design services.
The GSA is the purchasing and management agent
for the U.S. Government. GSA contracts are awarded
based on vendor's capabilities and experience
within a particular service area. The benefits
of GSA contracts are that they simplify the government's
purchasing process by saving time, money and paperwork
developing individual contracts for products and
services.
"Preparing the GSA proposal is a time consuming
effort. Typically, it can take an organization
over 200 hours to prepare, but well worth every
second." states Billy Twigg, CEO of Alexander
& Tom, Inc. "Since 1997, we've been working
with government clients such as the U.S. Census
Bureau, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
Graduate School. The GSA contract puts us on a
different playing field and opens even more doors
within the Federal government."
