Alexander + Tom partnered with Widmeyer Communications, a national Public Relations
agency, to create a new outreach website for the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services (HHS) that promotes their "Stop Bullying Now!" campaign. Stop Bullying Now! informs parents, educators and children about how to prevent bullying and resolve conflicts. The award winning website contains animated
webisodes, games and provides many different resources. Alexander + Tom designed the
website with a kid-friendly, energetic and intuitive approach, but the website is also
mature enough to attract adults. The site is 508 compliant and includes an easy-to-use
content update tool, Adobe Contribute, and navigation admin tools that allow the HHS
staff to update their site on a day-to-day basis.

Alexander + Tom completes Usability Testing for the U.S. Dept. of the Treasury.
The Usability Testing uses one-on-one sessions to test the participant’s ability
to perform tasks while using the website. This research includes eye-tracking analysis,
screen activity recording and heat mapping to analyze the participant’s path
to the completion of the tasks. Each session is monitored by the researcher through a
two-way mirror and recorded for an in-depth study. This information enhances and
corrects usability issues on the websites before distributing it to its full audience.
