Each year, Bermuda's Department of Tourism is charged with attracting a new crop of tourism customers to the island nation. Tourism is a hyper-competitive market, with billions of dollars in advertising being pushed at travel consumers, trying to persuade them to visit the vast array of destination choices. Retention of existing customers and attracting new customers is the mission of the Department of Tourism.
Bermuda Tourism needed a website. Alexander & Tom knew they needed so much more than that - so we developed a fully integrated marketing system to help Bermuda make the most of every tourism lead. The tourism marketing system is made up of a tourism website, an automated email generation system, an 800# call center, and a brochure-on-request program. All these items are connected to a central customer database that produces and manages all customer contacts on a pre-planned and automated basis. The result - Bermuda is able to respond to consumer inquiries faster, and in a more personalized manner than their competitors, and they are able to stay in touch with the consumer with automated emails and e-newsletters based on the consumers' preferences.
